Position: Communications Director
Reports to: Executive Pastor
Direct Reports: None
Objective: The Communications Director has the overall responsibility to provide leadership and direction for all communication and marketing needs across the church
Spiritual Gifts Needed: Administration; Leadership; Serving
Part-Time: 20 – 25 hours per week
Position Overview:
Frontline Community Church is committed to cross-generational, intercultural communication, and leveraging both digital and social media channels. The Communications Director is responsible to lead and direct communication and marketing across the church. The scope includes oversight of Frontline’s website, signage, printed materials, direct mail, email, and social media and communication team.

A minimum of a High School Diploma
Proficient in Office Suite, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Facebook, Instagram, and X required
Knowledge of social platforms and how to use them to promote the church
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Frontline’s communications channels including websites, social media outlets, electronic communications, and print media
Workswith a third-party design team (Church Media Squad) to submit graphic design requests
Coordinate and offer creative input and brand expertise across all ministry areas, functioning as an in-house brand consultant
Maintains communication calendar for promotions of events
Maintains and preserves all Frontline logos, artwork, and photos
Recruit, engage, and manage all designers, photographers
Plan, implement and monitor social media strategy increase church awareness
Attend monthly staff meetings and biweekly Frontline Lead Team meetings to gain knowledge of church activities and culture.
Manage all materials for church events, including print & digital assets (in conjunction with our creative team), and all supplies, gifts, and equipment
Work with the lead pastor and staff to strategize and think through creative elements of Sunday gatherings, as well as special holiday gatherings.
Manage TheChurch.Shop merchandise store by regularly uploading new merch designs and requesting check payments quarterly
Give staff TextinChurch software access and utilize for marketing purposes as needed
Manage marketing budget
Update Google Business Listing with sermon series and upcoming events
Write and distribute any weather cancellations or updates via TextinChurch, MailChimp, Social Media, and post on Website as Marketing Banner in coordination with the Lead Pastor
Stay up to date on consumer trends and social causes

Position: Facilities Assistant
Reports to: Facilities Director
Direct Reports: none
Objective: To assist the Facilities Director in maintaining the facilities and grounds of Frontline Community Church
Spiritual Gifts Needed: Serving
Part Time: 10 - 15 hours a week
Position Overview:
The person in this position will perform and/or oversee some of the custodial duties that are carried out within Frontline Community Church, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying garbage. They will also take care of routine grounds maintenance duties on a seasonal basis (tree and shrub trimming, weed control around buildings, trees, islands, snow blowing, shoveling, salting sidewalks, etc.…).

Ability to follow through and complete assigned jobs.

A minimum of a High School Diploma.
Previous housekeeping custodial experience preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily custodial/cleaning needs necessary to keep the buildings and facilities clean, including the following:
Vacuuming the front office lobby, offices, foyer, and worship center on specific days
Cleaning of bathrooms
Meet weekly with the Facility Director for an overview of specific tasks, duties, and upcoming events
Take weekly inventory of all cleaning/paper products to ensure proper levels to keep bathrooms cleaning closets stocked
Assist in maintaining the grounds during spring and summer, keeping trees and shrubs properly trimmed, and maintaining weed control around buildings, trees, and shrubs. During winter months, snow is blowing and shoveling the sidewalk as well as spreading salt.
Assist in room setups for regular weekly events, as well as for special events.
Monitor building and parking lots to ensure the safety, security and welfare of members, visitors, staff, etc.
Be available on-call to respond if necessary for security-related needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays, on a rotational basis.
Assist Community Service workers assigned to work to Frontline; review expectations of work
Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Director

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be escalated at times. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back strength to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs: this position requires good manual agility, coordination, and stamina. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds. Frequently required to have full mobility to sit, stand, walk, or move. Must be able to operate a vehicle. This role requires some sedentary tasks that must be completed in an office setting. Certain vision abilities may be required for this role.
